Our botanically-infused wonderworking hairspray for styling and setting dry and wet hair breaks the status quo in the best way. It’s a botanically-infused tincture, a hairspray first. With heat protection for blow-drying and iron-work built right in so you don’t need a second product for that.

GOOD TO KNOW: 

WET STYLING | great for adding control and polish in blow-drying and diffusing for all hair types. Add to thick curly hair to blow out without adding more mass. Add to fine/medium hair for a more controlled style, reducing frizz and fly-aways, without making it tacky or tangled.

DRY STYLING | use as a traditional hairspray for fly-aways and locking in style. SETSPRAY is a workable hold so the more you use, the stiffer it becomes. For shellacked wedding hair, we don’t recommend our spray. Think of SETSPRAY for more for lived-in, movable hair. With a heat protectant, so great for all iron work.

AIR STYLING | pH balanced to reduce the damaging pH of water, SETSPRAY is great for air drying curls or waves without the crunch. We recommend adding BALM or POMADE for thicker unruly hair types.

At CULT+KING we are big believers in the power of botanicals. Most of our products contain botanical essential oils. But there are other forms to capture that power… like hydrosols.

SUPERWATER is our homage to hyrosols, which are the floral waters or distillates of essential oils. Hydrosols are the water left behind after extracting an essential oil from a plant through water/steam distillation, making hydrosols beneficially powerful yet gentle enough for the most sensitive skins.

ANTIOXIDANTS ARE ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA

We’ve packed SUPERWATER with a feast of all our favorite antioxidants from holy basil, green tea and rose to chamomile, pomegranate and Vitamin C (boosted by ferulic acid).

HOW TO USE:
Lather bar directly onto wet hair and skin. Rinse with warm water. Because of the softer consistency of cold-processed soap, dry on a washboard surface between uses. Not recommended for color-treated hair.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Q:  How does CULT+KING WASH make suds if it doesn’t have SLS?

A:  WASH is made through the process of saponification of oils, which is the way that true soap is made and has always been made. And true soap makes suds.  If a shampoo bar is not made through saponification, SLS has to be added to make suds.  This is what the traditional shampoos in plastic bottles are all about.  Typically all the oils are saponified into the bar during the soap-making process unless the bar is “super-fatted.”  WASH is “super-fatted,” meaning there are extra oils added over and above what are used in the saponification process. The extra oils actually create their own mild, smooth lather, which is soft on skin, scalp and hair.
